When the naming rights became available for what would become the Vivint Smart Home Arena, the Utah Jazz asked Flinch to create a video that would communicate and convey the history and importance of “Utah’s Arena.”
So we worked with legendary coach Jerry Sloan (which was awesome) to create This Arena, which was presented to every company and organization in consideration for the arena naming rights before being made available to the public and Jazz fans everywhere.
BTW… did we mention that we worked with Jerry Sloan? Because that was awesome.

To get there, the Flinch team brought creativity, openness and a true collaborative spirit. Four Foods Group (FFG) is a restaurant development and operations company with over 100 restaurants across the united states… and growing. And they needed a Human Resources video that would effectively communicate—to thousands of employees— such important topics as health insurance, pay schedules, workplace harassment, and we’re bored already.
So how did me make such dry material actually watchable? We approached it with a new perspective. The result is informative, funny, and a little bit crazy. It’s also a great reflection of FFG’s business culture and the opportunity for employees to grow with—and even make a career out of—this company.
So we shot the entire spot at Four Foods Group, giving new employees a peek into the company’s warehouses, corporate offices, and day-to-day operations. And for the role of “Four Foods Group Employees,” we cast real Four Food’s Group Employees…right down to the CEO.

The Tour of Utah asked Flinch to create a brand video that would simultaneously speak to...well, everyone:
After a meticulous concepting process, Flinch combed through hundreds of hours of film from tours past and combined carefully chosen shots with custom footage shot especially for this film. Actor Christopher Gorham gave voice to the impactful and inspiring script, and the result is a promotional video that takes the viewer on an exciting, informative, and inspiring ride.

For over twenty years, David Nibley and Daryn Tufts have been writing, directing, designing, and delivering creative solutions for agencies, production companies, and many different types of clients, including…
Google, Adobe, Sony Music, Skullcandy, Franklin Covey, Novell, Mozy, Lifelock, The Utah Jazz, Utah Community Credit Union, The Larry H. Miller Family, Questar Gas, and The Eye Institute of Utah.

Daryn has also written and directed several feature films, including My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend (starring Alyssa Milano, Christopher Gorham, and Beau Bridges) and Stalking Santa with William Shatner (or as he’s more commonly known: The Shat) while spending the last decade (and counting) playing the role of Therm, The Questar Gas Energy Wiseguy.
If David’s face looks familiar, it may be from movies like The Best Two Years or Saints and Soldiers: Airborne Creed, one of the many commercials he’s acted in, or from his days as a stand-up comedian (yep, you read that right).
We got into this business because we love storytelling: writing, shooting, designing, acting, producing…all of it.
When we founded Flinch Creative, we made a goal of producing a feature film together, from the ground up. And that’s exactly what we did. All by ourselves. With lots and lots of help.
Written by Daryn Tufts, We Love You, Sally Carmichael! stars Christopher Gorham, who is also making his feature film directing debut. The movie also stars Elizabeth Tulloch (Grimm, Concussion, The Artist), Sebastian Roché (The Man in The High Castle, Vampire Diaries, Supernatural), Jack McBrayer (30 Rock, Wreck It Ralph), David Nibley (we’ve already bragged about him enough), and Paula Marshall (Gary Unmarried, Murder In The First).
